I had the pleasure of working on the Dune Awakening game for the past four years as a Senior Environment Artist.
My responsibilities included working directly in Unreal Engine to ensure that the level environments met both visual and performance requirements, while also collaborating and communicating closely with various departments throughout development. This level is, of course, the result of a team effort involving many talented individuals. I worked closely with multiple teams that did an excellent job, including the Level Design, Lighting and Material teams, 3D Art, Concept Art, and VFX teams, to name a few.

• This tutorial level was an important part of the project, as it introduces players to the core gameplay mechanics.
For this specific level, I was responsible for the initial environment exploration and layout setup in Unreal Engine, as well as the majority of environment art execution for the tutorial area — including the interior cave, exterior area, and part of the crashed ship interior (the captain’s quarters).
